Junior Golf

FNQ Women's Golf aims to introduce, encourage and support junior female golfers through out the region.  We encourage all our juniors to participate in all FNQ golfing events, including club Matchplay and the FNQ Championships.

Although FNQ is home to only a small number of junior girls, we hope to deliver opportunities to support their golf ambitions and offer financial assistance to participate in various Australian girls ranking events.

Please refer to the FNQ Junior Golf Handbook for details regarding events and selection process for representative teams.  Details and registration for Golf Australia & Junior Golf Qld sponsored events can be found on the Golf Australia website.

My Golf Program

MyGolf is Australia’s national junior introductory program to develop and promote participation in golf. A 10 week introductory program to the sport, the MyGolf program is designed for 5 to 12 year olds and is the major driver of junior golf participation in Australia.

Through the MyGolf program, we aim to increase participation and engagement in golf by children, and provide a fun, accessible and satisfying introduction to the sport of golf by promoting skills development, as well as the social and fun aspects of the sport, to the wider community.
